If you have a 200 Hour certificate, you can use these hours to reach the 500 Hour level.
All classes are registered with Yoga Alliance at the 300 Hour level and for YACEP hours.
Some classes are also suitable for non-teachers.
If you have questions, see me at one of my regular classes, or text me and give me a time to phone you. I prefer in-person or phone contact.

Applications
There is no application. If you want to attend the 300 Hour course, start by taking regular classes with us. One of the requirements of the 300 hour course is that you accumulate 140 hours of classes at Yoga East with E-RYT 200/500 teachers. You should start attending classes right away because this takes most students two years to finish, so start now. This allows us to get to know you, know your practice, and talk to you about your goals for the training. If you cannot attend in-person, you are now able to attend classes by Livestream or Replay.
300 Hour Tuition
Class fees for regular classes are on the website. Fees for Core Curriculum seminars (Anatomy & Physiology, Teaching Methodology, and Yoga Philosophy) are shown in the online class descriptions. Most classes are held in a series and attendance for the entire series is strongly recommended.

Yoga Sutras, free download, by Chip Hartranft
Written around 450 CE, attributed to the sage Patanjali, this text is universally accepted as the most authoritative text on the practice of yoga. It's a short, simple text of four chapters of 195 short verses which define yoga and shows how yoga practice calms the restless mind. Further practice leads to a state of total freedom from repeated patterns of thought that cause us to be unhappy and unsatisfied. Hartranft's translation is accurate, helpful and easy to understand if you are new to yoga.
Yoga East Chanting and Sanskrit Manual
The Manual shows the chants and invocations commonly used in our classes with a translation and how how to pronounce them.
For those who want to learn to write Sanskrit.
